Price Promotions
Acenda allows both custom and promotional pricing. Custom pricing is a separate price for a particular marketplace and promotional pricing is a special marketplace or base price spanning a time range.
First, manually create a promotional price for a single SKU. If you want to run more than one promotion, create a single promotion for each promotion marketplace/time range you want to run. These initial promotions will allow easy creation of the promotion import for your other SKUs. Navigate to the Items tab under Data Management on the sidebar, search for a product variant you want promotional pricing for, and click View next to the product variant.
Click the Pricing tab. Click the Add promotional price button. You can also add custom pricing here by clicking the Add custom price button.
Enter the subscription you want the promotion to apply to, the promo price, and the start and end dates. If you don’t select a subscription, the promotional price will apply to all marketplace subscriptions. When finished, click Add.
Now navigate to the Import/Export tab under Data Management on the sidebar and click the Export tab. Click + New Export and select Promotion as the model. Once the file is done exporting, click the cloud button to its right to download. Open the file.
Delete the first 5 columns in the exported file.
Now you can simply drag the rows down from the initial promotions you created manually and enter the other SKUs in the sku column.
Once finished, be sure to save the file as a CSV UTF-8.
Navigate to the Imports tab and click + New Import.
Drag and drop or browse for your promo file and select Promotion in the Type dropdown menu. It is also possible to delete your promotions by checking the Delete Mode box. To only update existing promotions, check the second box ‘Only update existing records’. When finished, click Upload.
