Sharing an application map from AcreConnect™ to Climate FieldView™

Share Application Maps with Ease

Give your customers a more comprehensive view of their operations by sharing application map data directly via Climate FieldView™. To get started, follow the steps below.


Ensure Accounts Are Connected

Make sure your AcreConnect™ and Climate FieldView™ accounts are connected. If you need help with that, view this article.


Navigate to Flight Groups

Go to the Flight Group where you created the application map, click the three dots on the right-hand side, and select "View."


Select Desired Application Map

In the upper-right corner, select the Map Type for your desired application map. If you have multiple application maps of that type, choose the correct one from the list on the left. If you haven’t created an application map yet, click here to learn how.


Share to FieldView™

On the bottom-left side, click "Export." A popup will appear. Click the "Share" dropdown and select FieldView™. Once sent, a green message will appear in the top-right corner stating, "Your file was successfully sent to your FieldView™ inbox."


Access FieldView™ Inbox

Navigate to your FieldView™ account. Click “Data Inbox” and then click “Applications (1)”.

Note: If the application field does not appear in your FieldView™ Data Inbox, refresh your website browser.

Import Application Map

Select the checkmark box for “Application File Name". On the bottom right of the page, click “Import (1)”. This will import your application file. You will receive a green pop-up notification in FieldView™ that indicates “1 file has been imported.”


View Application Map in FieldView™

Navigate to the main FieldView™ account page. Under "Fields," select the corresponding field. Then, from the "Maps" dropdown menu, choose "In Season" and then "Applications" to overlay the application data onto your field.

Note: Fields may take some time to appear in FieldView™. Due to FieldView™ processing, it can take up to 24 hours for them to show.

Adjust Legend

Adjust the legend values so they accurately represent your data for application maps that include rate data.
