Sharing an application map from AcreConnect™ to John Deere Operations Center™

Share Application Maps with Ease

Before continuing, make sure your John Deere Operations Center™ account is connected to AcreConnect. Click HERE to learn how.


Ensure Account Connectivity

Make sure your AcreConnect™ and John Deere Operations Center™ accounts are connected. If you need help with that, view this article.


Locate Your Application Maps

Navigate to "Flights and Maps."

Locating Map Via a Group

Under the "Groups" tab, select the group the map is associated with.

In the top right corner, under “Map Type,” choose the type that matches the map you previously created.

If multiple application maps exist in the Flight Group, select the one you want to export from the left-hand side.

Under the "Maps" tab, select the desired Application Map.


Initiate the Sharing Process

On the bottom left-hand corner of the page, click the “Export” button.

In the pop-up window, click “Share.” From the dropdown that appears, choose “John Deere.”


Choose Organization and Field

You will be prompted to select an applicable organization to share to John Deere Operations Center™. Select the applicable organization and field from the dropdown menus. Click “Upload” when ready.

Note: Before exporting, a field must be set up in John Deere Operations Center™ with an active boundary. Without this, the export cannot be completed.


Complete the Upload

You’ll be redirected to the John Deere Operations Center™ with your application maps uploaded. At the top left of the map view in John Deere Operations Center™, select the appropriate layer to view the Application Map. The layer will be labeled “Drone Application (Date).”

With the data now in John Deere Operations Center™, you can compare it with other datasets or overlay it on existing field maps. This helps visualize where applications were made relative to yield outcomes, soil conditions, or other management practices, giving you actionable insights for future decisions.
