  1. Log in to Your Google Tag Manager Account:

  2. Create a New Container (if necessary):

    • If you haven't created a container yet, click Create Account and follow the prompts to create a new container for your website.

    • If you already have a container, select it from your list of containers.

  3. Add a New Tag:

    • In the selected container, click on Tags in the left-hand menu.

    • Click on New to create a new tag.

  4. Configure the Tag:

    • Click on Tag Configuration.

    • Select the type of tag you want to add (e.g., Google Analytics, Custom HTML, etc.).

  5. Paste the Tracking Script:

    • If you're using a custom HTML tag, paste your tracking script code into the HTML box.

  6. Set Up Triggering:

    • Click on Triggering and select a trigger for your tag (e.g., All Pages to fire the tag on every page).

  7. Save and Publish:

    • After configuring the tag and setting up triggering, click Save.

    • Click on Submit to publish your changes.

    • Follow the prompts to name and describe your new tag version, then click Publish.

  8. Verify Integration:

    • Use the tracking service’s real-time tracking feature or browser developer tools to ensure the tracking script is correctly loaded and sending data.
