Calendar

Adding Resources

To enable the use of the calendar, you need to create at least one resource. Resources are usually employees for whom time reservations for various tasks are scheduled on the calendar. However, you can also designate any other item that requires reservations on the calendar as a resource.

Here's how to add resources:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Choose Resources from the top menu

  3. In the Resources view, you can:

    1. Create new resources

    2. Edit or delete existing resources

Tip! You can directly add the first resource from the calendar by clicking the "Create Resource" button.

Calendar Opening Hours

The calendar will appear grayed out initially if no opening hours have been set. You can easily set the opening hours as follows:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Choose Opening Hours from the top menu

  3. In this view, you can:

    1. Select the days of the week as open or closed by clicking the "Closed" checkbox

    2. Adjust the daily opening hours with 15-minute precision

    3. Additionally, you can add exceptions to the opening hours, such as extra open or closed days

Settings

You are not obligated to fill in any settings to start using ADA Next, so you can choose the most suitable configurations for your purpose or leave unnecessary fields blank.

Basic Information

The information specified in the Basic Information will appear on various prints (orders, invoices, receipts), and by modifying them, you can make your shop's contact information visible to customers.

Pricing and Taxes

From here, you can adjust the default hourly rate, tax rate, and currency for your shop. The hourly rate and tax can be modified on a per-line basis in work orders, but a new line will automatically use the hourly rate and tax percentage set in the settings.

Invoicing

If you want to send invoices to your customers, make sure to set up the invoicing settings properly! In the invoicing settings, you can define your bank details, payment terms, and late payment interest.
