ATA Affiliate Program

ATA Affiliate gyms and organizations represent the highest standard of inclusive fitness training.

Each affiliate has received the requisite education that enables them to provide safe and effective adaptive and inclusive fitness training for people with disabilities. ATA Affiliates have been vetted to ensure the training facility adheres to ATA’s standards of accessibility, risk mitigation, and safety procedures.

Your ATA Affiliation differentiates your organization from the thousands of other gyms/organizations that are not inclusive and prepared to serve the adaptive community.

• Legal use of the ATA name, logo, and promotional materials
• Promotion on ATA website and social media platforms
• Promotion on the ATA Affiliate Map and Affiliate List (allows athletes and organization to identify for your facility for training)
• Adaptive Training Quick Reference Guidebook (includes checklists, onboarding documents, impairment references, and safety protocols)

AIT Certification

Applicants must have a minimum of at least one trainer on staff who holds a current Adaptive & Inclusive Trainer (AIT) Certificate.

Accessible Facility

Facility must be ADA compliant (if US based) and/or meet all national and local accessibility laws.

Proof of Insurance

U.S. affiliates will be required to submit proof of liability insurance. While we do not require our international affiliates to submit proof of insurance, we strongly recommend they carry it.

Affiliate Fee

As of January 1, 2025, the affiliation fee is $499 annually.

The Affiliation application window is estimated to open year-round.

Applicants may use the media collection checklist to assist with recording their physical accessibility demonstrations (link: ATA Affiliate Video Checklist)

2) Wait for ATA's Review of Application

ATA Staff may require additional information or confirmation of affiliation requirements.

3) Sign Affiliate License Agreement

E-sign the annual license agreement.

4) Submit Affiliate Fee

The affiliation fee is $499, auto-renewed annually.

5) Affiliation Complete!

Congratulations! You are an official ATA affiliate.
Receive and display your certified adaptive training facility signage.
