ATA Veteran Support Grants and Scholarships

GRANT OVERVIEW

Adaptive Training Academy provides opportunities for Veterans to improve their independence, well-being, and quality of life through adaptive sports and therapeutic arts programs. ATA plans, develops, manages, and implements programs to provide adaptive sports opportunities for disabled Veterans and disabled members of the Armed Forces.

The 2025-2026 grant is not available yet. Fund and scholarship applications will be made available in December, with an announcement made.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible, your organization must be able to provide fitness training for United States Veterans with disabilities (non-US military are not eligible). This service does not need to be a specialty class or program but must increase the available facilities and trainers able to serve veterans with disabilities.

HOW FUNDS MAY BE USED

Apply to be eligible to receive funding:
- to pay for a portion of your (or your staff's) Adaptive & Inclusive Trainer (AIT) certification

- to purchase adaptive training equipment

- to pay for adaptive trainers, coaching, and support staff for your program
