Learn Directly From Adaptive Fitness Experts
One of the biggest benefits of the cohort format is access to ATA trainers, adaptive athletes, clinicians, educators, and industry experts who bring real-world experience into the live sessions.
Featured Subject Matter Experts may include:
Jenna Muri-Rosenthal — A Certified Brain Injury Specialist, speech-language pathologist, educator, adaptive coach, and founder of Fit to Function Recovery. Jenna brings a unique combination of clinical knowledge and hands-on adaptive fitness experience.
Mike Egan — A retired U.S. Marine, bilateral amputee, adaptive athlete, coach, CrossFit Games competitor, and ATA Veteran Program Manager. Mike brings the perspective of both an athlete and a coach working directly with adaptive populations.
Logan Aldridge — ATA Director of Training, upper-extremity adaptive athlete, world champion, and Peloton instructor. Logan has helped develop ATA’s adaptive fitness education and brings extensive experience in both elite performance and practical exercise adaptation.
Kristen Arnold, Ed.D. — ATA Director of Education with expertise in inclusive education, learning design, neurodiversity, and intellectual disability. Kristen helps translate complex information into what education trainers can actually use in the gym.
Amy Bream — Elite lower-extremity adaptive CrossFit athlete, trainer, and motivational speaker. Amy provides the athlete perspective on training, adaptation, prosthetic use, confidence, and competing at the highest levels of adaptive fitness.
Sam Schaefer — U.S. Air Force veteran, below-knee amputee, and multi-sport adaptive athlete with experience across endurance sports, boxing, and other adaptive competition. His experience demonstrates how adaptive fitness can support participation across a wide range of sports and goals.
Chris Kommer / PER4MAX — Chris is CFO of PER4MAX, a company founded by adaptive athletes that designs and builds custom everyday and sports wheelchairs, including the X-FIT wheelchair specifically developed for adaptive functional fitness. Learners can gain insight into wheelchair selection, setup, equipment, and performance considerations.
Additional ATA Staff Trainers and Subject Matter Experts will participate throughout the cohort.
