AutoGrade is an automated inspection grading system created by Manheim. It’s based on the concept introduced in the NAAA established Condition Grading Scale Guidelines. It uses its algorithm to provide a grade once the inspection is completed. Many things will cause the grade to go down, and depending on what the item is it will fall into one of 3 categories. Major reduction, Moderate reduction, and Minor reduction. Several major reductions or many damage items can even cause the grade to go as low as a 0.
