ADESA Inspections supplemental role guide This document is designed to provide a list of functionality for each role within the ADESA Inspections portal. It also highlights any additional approval needed to obtain user role permissions.
Auction Assignments Roles:
Auction Admin**- Ability to create rules using the rules engine. Rules are set up to apply to customers with services you choose. Rules Engine User Guide (account managers and commercial account managers)
Auction Coordinator – Ability to Suggest and mark damages Repaired, edit flags and view assignment details within the portal. Ability to load Smart Recon Suggestions Allows user to uncancel an inspection. Add/ Remove Tags (Account Coordinator or Admin)
Auction Coordinator Rep – Ability to Suggest, Approve and mark damages Repaired, edit flags and view assignment details within the portal.Ability to load Smart Recon Suggestions. Allows user to uncancel an inspection. Add/ Remove Tags (Account Coordinator or Admin that has permission to approve on behalf of a client)
Inspection Auditor** - Role in AutoHawk that allows managers to audit inspections.
General User Portal 2.0 – Basic user, provides read only access to condition reports. Provides Read Only Auction CR access that is limited by Auction location and client. (all Auction employees should have this role, but it is not needed if they have another role.)
Inspector – Ability to inspect and edit using AutoHawk. (inspector)
Manager – Ability to Suggest, Approve and mark damages Repaired, edit flags and view assignment details within the portal. Ability to load Smart Recon Suggestions. Manager role receives ADESA Inspections AutoGrade error emails immediately as well as daily summary. Allows user to uncancel an inspection. Add/ Remove Tags (Inspection Manager, Account Manager)
Mechanical Inspector – Ability to add mechanical inspection notes, recommendations for certification levels, parts needed awareness, and add tech time. Uses the site https://www.adesainspections.com/ci
Portal Editor – Damages** – Add on role that provides the ability to add and edit damages and tire information as well as delete damages from portal (must have Auction Coordinator Rep or Manager role)
Rental Account Admin – Add on role that allows the user to manage rental account programs from the Portal. For units in Rental this includes ability to add and edit damages and tire information as well as delete damages, edit flags and view assignment details (add on to Account Coordinator Rep / Manager role)
VTRACE Admin** – Add on role that provides ability for user to edit Work Order Status in portal for VTRACE reconciliation or Rejected or Unable to Send errors. (add on with Auction Coordinator Rep or Manager role)
