You can filter the majority of columns in the vehicle list in Pre-Sale Audit so that you can see only the information you want to view. To filter your vehicle list, follow these steps:
The Filters area expands to display the columns you can filter (see Figure 2).
2. Click on the column you’d like to filter.
A drop-down list appears (see Figure 3). Remember: The drop-down lists are specific to the information in the vehicle list, so you see only the choices that were used for the chosen sale date and sale type.
3. Deselect the check boxes for the items you don’t want to see in the vehicle list and make sure that the check boxes for the items that you do want visible are checked.
Anything checked will appear in the vehicle list. Tip: To uncheck all check boxes at once, deselect the All check box. The check boxes will all disappear, and you can now select the items you’d like to see.
Tip: To increase how many vehicles you can view in the vehicle list without scrolling, hide the Filters area when you’re done by selecting the up arrow on the right side of the screen.
Filter any other columns that aren’t listed in the Filters area by hovering over the column header, clicking the Display icon (see Figure 4), and specifying your filters.
Tip: You can tell which columns are filterable by hovering over the column header. If a Display icon appears next to the column header, as shown in Figure 3, then you can filter the column. Any column that is already filtered, will already have the three lines next to it.
The following columns are all filterable: Vehicle, Seller, Lights, Odometer, Announcements, Transmission Accounts, and Title Status.
When you click on the three lines, a box appears (see Figure 5). Clicking on the arrow reveals a drop-down list that you can use to filter your results (see Figure 6). Tip: You can search for a specific word — for example, blue, if you’re looking for blue vehicles — by selecting Contains and typing “blue” in the text box. You can even add other search parameters — for example, 2008, if you’re looking for blue 2008 vehicles.
To clear all filters, click on Clear Filter.
