In Title Management, you can verify vehicle ownership by using the search feature. The following steps walk you through the process of verifying vehicle ownership:
1. Go to AMP at https://www.adesaamp.com.
If you have the proper permissions, you see a Welcome! Page (see Figure 1). You’re not asked for a password or username.
If you don’t have permission for web-shared services and web applications, you’ll see an error message.
2. From the menu, choose Titles --> Title Management (see Figure 2).
The Title Management window appears.
3. Click on the Search Type drop-down list and choose VIN, as shown in Figure 3.
Alternatively, you can press alt + 2 simultaneously.
4. Type the six-digit VIN in the search bar (see Figure 4).
5. Click on the search icon (see Figure 5).
The vehicle’s basic information appears. The Buyer and Seller information appears in the relevant columns, as shown in Figure 6.
