The Title Management function allows you to manage a vehicle’s title status. An unmatched title refers to a title that the auction possesses but a matching vehicle is not on the auction lot. The following steps guide you through the process of successfully managing or handling an unmatched title:

1. Go to AMP at https://www.adesaamp.com.

If you have the proper permissions, you see a Welcome! Page (see Figure 1). You’re not asked for a password or username.

If you don’t have permission for web-shared services and web applications, you’ll see an error message.

2. From the menu, choose Titles --> Title Management (see Figure 2).

3. In the Title Management window that appears, click on the Unmatched Titles tab (see Figure 3).

A matched title is a title that the auction possesses, and a matching vehicle is on the lot. For details on working vehicles with these titles, refer to “Work a Matched Title” process in the Help Center.

Vehicles on the auction lot that the auction does not have a title for appear in the Vehicles Without Titles tab. For details on vehicles without titles, refer to “Manage Vehicles Without Titles” in the Help Center.

A list of vehicles with unmatched titles appears (see Figure 4).

4. If it isn’t already selected, click on the All tab to view all vehicles with an unmatched title (see Figure 5).

Tip: You can search for a specific vehicle by Seller (see Figure 6). When searching by Seller, you can customize the column display so that you see only the information you’re interested in. To do so, click on the Display button and select the check boxes for the information you want to see.

5. Click on the Release button for the vehicle whose title you want to manage (see Figure 7).

The Release Title window displays information about the seller, title, and vehicle (see Figure 8).

6. Verify the information and add a comment, if needed.

Note: You can only add a comment if you enter a release.

7. If you’re shipping the title, select the Release to shipping courier check box and enter the shipping information (see Figure 9).

8. Click on the Release button.

9. To release the title for another vehicle, click on the Back button to return to the list of vehicles and then select the Release button to work the next car.

Remember: If you encounter an error, always report it. Reporting the error helps log and identify problems.
