The following list contains FAQs about the physical title inventory: 

  • Why can’t I see an audit to scan in the phone? The audit must be created in AMP prior to scanning.

  • Can multiple people scan at the same time? Yes. Each person will need to have a phone to use and be set up correctly in the system.

  • Can more than one person enter exception comments? Yes. However, the person(s) entering comments can’t have title management override.

  • How do I turn off the audible notification of each scanned title? Flipping down the switch on the side of the iPhone mutes the phone and stops the dinging.

  • What happens when I can’t scan a tag? Click on the pencil at the top of the screen. You can enter the last six of the VIN, search for the unit, and select the correct VIN to record. Optionally, enter all characters of the VIN in the field.

  • Can the audit be printed for research? Yes. What is displayed on the web page screen is what will print. The default is to display ten titles, so you may want to expand your view.

  • Can the audit be deleted? You can delete while the scanning is still in progress, but after you click on Scan Complete, you can’t delete the audit.
