The following tips can help ensure that your audit goes smoothly:

  • Charge phones prior to the audit.

  • Put the phone on silent.

  • Always accept and install any updates before starting the audit.

  • Refresh the AMP screen during scanning to track progress.

  • Create the audit right before starting to scan.

  • Having multiple people scan will make the audit go much faster. You can use existing phones in your device pool. It will be important for someone to keep track of the process to make sure that all titles are scanned. Example: One person scans all the factory titles, another scans titles for floor planned vehicles, and a third person scans unpaid/paid transferred titles, and so on.

  • Consider moving toward a single audit once a month with multiple scanners to facilitate all the nook-and-cranny places throughout the auction.

  • Perform the audit at approximately the same time each month.

  • Perform the audit at nonpeak business hours. This timing is ideal for maximum equipment availability, less interruptions, and minimum title movement.

  • Standardize your audit name. We recommend using a format of Customer, Status, Month, Year β€” for example, All, transferred, May 2019.

  • If you encounter an error, always report it. Reporting the error helps log and identify problems.
