Instead of running a Received Vehicles Not Stock-In report in AMS, you can see the same list of vehicles in the Gate app. The following steps guide you through the process of viewing received vehicles within the Gate app:
1. From the Gate app menu, click on Receive Vehicle (see Figure 1).
The Vehicle Receiving page appears.
2. From the Vehicle Receiving page, click on View Received Vehicles (see Figure 2).
The Receive Vehicle page appears (see Figure 3). This list displays received vehicles that have not yet been stocked in.
Work the list of received vehicles
You can “work” the vehicles listed on the Receive Vehicles page. Swiping left on a specific vehicle gives you the following options (see Figure 4):
Remove the vehicle from the list
Print a sticker
Stock in the vehicle
Remember: Removing the vehicle from the list or stocking it in will also take it off the Received Vehicles Not Stocked-In report and the list that appears in the Gate app the next time.
Search the list of received vehicles
From the list of received vehicles, you can filter the list based on what you want to look for. Simply enter any criteria, such as the model, the last six digits of the VIN, vehicle type, owner, month, and so on, in the search bar. The Gate app filters the list based on your criteria. Figure 5 shows search results for “Nissan.”
Vehicle View and received status
If you use the View Vehicle feature and scan a vehicle on your lot within the Gate app, the resulting information page shows that the vehicle has been received but not yet stocked in (see Figure 6).
