During the checkout process, you may encounter an error (see Figure 1). Although the error message will be different depending on the situation, the options you have for handling the error will always be the same: Release Anyway, Edit Information, or Return Vehicle.

Simply choose which action in the error message you’d like to take to resolve the error. The following sections explain what happens when you select each of these three options.

Release Anyway

If you click on Release Anyway, the Override Checkout window asks you whether you’d like to override the error message and allow the vehicle to leave the lot (see Figure 2).

If you click on No, you return to the Checkout Details page (see Figure 3) to make modifications to the data and resubmit. After you make your changes, click on the Confirm Checkout button.

If you click on Yes, a red page indicates that the vehicle has left the lot and will be checked out in AMS (see Figure 4).

Edit Information

If you click on Edit Information, you see the Checkout Details page (see Figure 5) where you can change the data and resubmit the checkout. After you make your changes, click on Confirm Checkout.

Return Vehicle

If you click on Return Vehicle, a yellow page indicates that the vehicle has been returned and is not checked out in AMS (see Figure 6).
