You can use the Unit Notes section during checkout to add any type of transporter notes, such as damage. These notes will appear in the Vehicle History tab in AMS.
During the checkout process, you can add any notes by choosing Unit Notes, as shown in Figure 1. You can use enter your notes using the keyboard that appears at the bottom of the page.
When you’re done adding your notes, click on Confirm Checkout. (If you’re unsure how to check out a vehicle using the Gate app, the document “Check Out a Vehicle” on the Hub walks you through the entire process.)
After the vehicle has been successfully checked out, the notes you entered will appear in the Vehicle History tab in AMS (see Figure 2).
Tip: If you don’t have time to enter the notes during checkout, you can go into AMS and add them later, if needed.
