Meet the Inspections Portal

Use the Inspections Portal to prepare a vehicle for sale.

The Inspections Portal is designed to guide you through the process of preparing a vehicle for sale. You can view and update Condition Reports (CRs) and manage the workflow process. 

When you first log in to the Inspections Portal, you see the screen shown in Figure 1. This screen is set up so that you can easily do tasks such as viewing which vehicles are in each work queue, searching for a specific vehicle, and applying tags.

Work queues

The Inspections Portal work queues appear in the dark column on the left side of the screen (see Figure 2). Each queue in the workflow requires that certain tasks be completed before the vehicle moves on to the next phase in the process.

The number to the right of each queue tells you how many vehicles are currently in that queue. To view a list of vehicles in a particular queue, click on the queue. The active queue appears in white, and an updated list of the vehicles that are in the selected queue appears (see Figure 3). The name of the queue you are in displays in the brown bar that is located above the vehicle list.

Vehicle list

At times, your vehicle list will contain too many vehicles to be useful. You can tell how many vehicles are in the list by looking at the details in the bottom left corner of the screen (see Figure 4).

You can also change how many vehicles appear on-screen by clicking on the drop-down list at the bottom right of the page (see Figure 5).

Tip: You can expand the vehicle list view by clicking on the button in the top-left corner of the page (see Figure 6). When you do, the purple dark column shrinks to display only the icons, freeing up more space for the vehicle list (see Figure 7)
