If a unit was stocked in with the wrong Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) you can correct it in AMS. When the VIN is corrected in AMS, the Inspections Portal will automatically update with the new number. If a title has been received under the correct VIN then it will require support.
To correct the VIN
1. In the Vehicle Search – Inventory Management window that appears, enter the stock number (or anything that will help you get to the correct vehicle) and then click on the Search icon (see Figure 2).
The Inventory Management window appears (see Figure 3).

2. Enter the correct VIN and click on Save.
