1. Find the vehicle in the Inspections Portal.
You can search by the vehicle’s stock number or VIN.
2. If you need to add damages, click on the Add Damages button, shown in Figure 1; otherwise, skip to Step 5.
The Add Damage window, shown in Figure 2, appears.
3. Type the part name in the Part Search box.
Tip: After you type only a few letters, suggestions will appear in the drop-down list, as shown in Figure 3. Simply select the part you want from the list or continue typing to further narrow down your choices.
4. In the Add Damage window, specify the area of damage, the damage location, part, damage type, severity, repair action, Mitchell qualifier, and damage source. (see Figure 4).
6. Enter your notes and click on the Save button.
