The following sections show you how to update items in the CR.

Updating keys and repairs

To mark repairs as completed, you simply need to select the R check box next to the line item that was repaired. Remember: If full V-TRACE automation is turned on, you don’t need to mark repairs as completed. Those repair items update automatically when completed in V-TRACE.

Updating keys as being replaced involves a few additional steps. The following steps walk you through the process of properly updating keys when replaced within the Inspections Portal:

1. In the Condition Report, select the R check box next to the key line item (see Figure 2).

2. Click on the Equipment tab (see Figure 3).

3. Click on Key(s) Standard (see Figure 4).

4. In the window that appears, enter the number of remotes and keys and then click on the Save icon (see Figure 5).

5. Click on the Submit CR button to update the changes in the CR (see Figure 6).

Updating tires

The following steps walk you through the process of properly updating tires when replaced within the Inspections Portal:

1. In the CR, select the R check boxes to mark each tire line item as repaired (see Figure 7).

2. Click on the Wheels and Tire tab (see Figure 8).

3. Select the Edit Tire icon (see Figure 9).

4. From the drop-down list, select the Tread Depth for each replaced tire and then click on the Save icon (see Figure 10).

5. Click on the Submit CR button to update the changes in the CR (see Figure 11).

Updating the drivable status

You also need to properly update the drivable status from not drivable to drivable:

1. In the CR, scroll down to the Conditions section and select the Drivable field to edit it (see Figure 12).

2. In the drop-down list that appears, select Yes (see Figure 13).

3. Click on the Save icon.

4. Click on Submit CR to update the changes in the CR (see Figure 14).
