The Transmission System allows you to send and receive data to and from various entities, such as Emkay, VW, Toyota, and AASC.
Incoming transmissions are sets of data, such as vehicle source information, floor prices, pickup assignments, and more. All incoming transmissions are processed as soon as the auction requests it.
Outgoing transmissions include such things as inventory records and sales results. Generally, these files are sent immediately, but outgoing transmissions do have exceptions. With customers like KIA, MBF, GM, and Chrysler files are staged in a holding queue until a specific time of day when all files from all auctions are consolidated together into a single file and sent via a particular protocol, such as FTP.
