You can add announcements to vehicles based on information from AutoCheck. The following steps walk you through the process of adding announcements in Vehicle History:

1. Open the vehicle you want to view, as shown in Figure 1.

If you’re not sure how to find the vehicle you want to view, see the document “View Vehicle History Reports” in the Help Center.

2. Click on the vehicle’s Announcements button, as shown in Figure 2.

All of the vehicle’s announcements currently added to the vehicle appear in the Active column on the left side of the screen.

All announcements that are able to be added are listed on the right side of the screen (see Figure 3). In the United States, you can add Vehicle and Inventory announcements or create a custom announcement. In Canada, you can add MVDA and Inventory announcements or create a custom announcement.

3. Click on the announcements you want to add to the vehicle or click on the + to add a custom announcement.

The new announcements appear in the Active list.

Tip: To remove an incorrect announcement from the Active list, click on the X at the end of the announcement tag (see Figure 4).

4. When you’re finished adding announcements, click on the Close button to save the announcements.

You return to the Vehicle History Incomplete list.

After all the reports for a specific vehicle have been reviewed and all appropriate announcements added, you can mark the vehicle as Archive (complete) by sliding the Archive toggle button in the vehicle list to the right (see Figure 5).
