After the vehicle history reports for a specific vehicle have been reviewed and all announcements added, the vehicle can be marked Archive (complete). You can view a vehicle’s archived history reports and announcements in Vehicle History in AMP. The following steps walk you through the process:
1. Go to AMP at https://www.adesaamp.com.
2. From the menu, choose Sale --> Vehicle History, as shown in Figure 1.
3. From the Review Status drop-down list, select Archived (see Figure 2).
4. Enter the VIN.
You can search by the last six or eight numbers of the VIN or the full VIN. A drop-down list of all the full VINs matching the numbers you entered appears (see Figure 3).
5. Choose the correct VIN from the list that appears.
The historical records for the selected VIN appear (see Figure 4). Information about the vehicle, including the person who marked the vehicle complete, are listed on the left. If multiple requests to AutoCheck were sent and processed, the VIN will appear multiple times.
The reports received for the vehicle are displayed on the right side of the screen. Only reports that were received for the vehicle are displayed. Each report can be viewed by selecting the name of the report.
If no vehicle history reports or announcements were received for the vehicle, it is automatically archived and will display No Results Found (see Figure 5).
Tip: You can search through the vehicle list by clicking on the search icon that appears above the vehicle list. You can then type your search criteria in the box that appears and click on the icon to view the results.
To remove the search parameter, click X, as shown in Figure 6.
6. To view any announcements assigned to the vehicle, click on the VIN.
Vehicle view displays the announcements listed (see Figure 7).
