Update a Transmission Event

Complete a transmission event that requires user interaction.

Transmission events need to be monitored and reviewed. Many transmissions require user interaction before the transmission event can be successfully completed. Following are some common reasons that transmission events are updated:

  • A user checkpoint in the transmission process, such as clicking on Continue or Cancel after the transmission data is gathered.

  • The data received from the customer needs to be processed into the auction database (inbound transmission)

  • The transmission encountered an error

The following steps walk you through the process of updating a transmission event:

1. On the Monitor page, search for the desired transmission event.

If you’re not sure how to do so, see the document “Search for Transmission Events.”

2. Click on the plus icon next to the transmission event that you’d like to view (see Figure 1).

The event details appear, as shown in Figure 2.

3. Update the transmission event.
