You can execute both outbound and inbound transmissions from the Execute page. You will have permission to execute only the transmissions that you’ve been granted access to in the AMS Security Application.
The following steps walk you through the process of executing a transmission:
1. On the Execute page, select the transmission account from the Transmission Account drop-down list (see Figure 1).
2. From the results that appear, click on the Execute icon next to the desired transmission event, as shown in Figure 2.
The window that opens depends on which transmission event you choose.
3. Enter the transmission parameters and then click on the Execute button.
A confirmation appears at the bottom of the window.
Tip: To monitor your transmission event, click on the Monitor this Event link at the bottom of the window. If you don’t want to monitor the event, proceed to Step 4.
4. Click on the Close button to return to the Execute page.
