You can use the AuctionTrac mobile app to scan a vehicle’s bar code. The following steps walk you through the process of scanning a vehicle:
1. Click on the bar code icon in the upper-right corner of the Search page (see Figure 1).
2. (Optional) Click on the Flash icon (see Figure 2).
3. (Optional) If you plan to scan more than one vehicle, click on the Scan Lot Mode switch to enable the multiple scanning feature (see Figure 3).
When the switch is in the On position, you can scan multiple vehicle bar codes.

4. Position the device so that the bar code is in the center of the scanning area.
The application automatically scans the bar code. Once the bar code is captured, the Vehicle Details page appears (unless you turned on Scan Lot Mode in Step 3). Location Recorded appears to let you know that the GPS coordinates have been captured. Warning: If the vehicle or device is away from the auction location, an error message appears, and the vehicle bar code isn’t recorded.
