If you’re assigned a Coordinator role, you can mark vehicles for sale. Mark for sale means that a vehicle has been physically identified as being ready for sale using one of the following methods:
The sale date and run number is written on the vehicle
A sale sticker has been applied to the windshield.
Using the mark for sale options help you keep track of inventoried vehicles already accounted for and inventoried vehicles that still need processing.
The following steps walk you through the process of marking a vehicle for sale:
1. Click on the Mark for Sale icon (see Figure 1).
The Mark for Sale page appears.
2. Choose whether you want to view all vehicles, only unmarked vehicles, or marked vehicles by clicking on the appropriate tab (see Figure 2).
3. Click on Change Lane (see Figure 3).
A list of sale dates appears.
4. Select the sale date(s) and then click on Apply (see Figure 4).
5. Select a lane or multiple lanes and then click on Apply (see Figure 5).
The lanes are now listed on the Mark For sale page (see Figure 6).
6. To filter by seller, click on All Sellers.
7. From the list that appears, select the seller(s) you want to filter by and then click on Apply (see Figure 7).
The list is filtered to include only those sellers you selected.
8. Select the checkbox for any vehicle you’d like to mark for sale.
9. When asked if you want to print the sale label, click on Yes or No (see Figure 8).
If you click on No, you’re returned to the list of vehicles (see Figure 9). Remember: Marking vehicles for sale in AuctionTrac won’t mark sale stickers as printed in AMS.
