The Inventory Report Builder is a tool designed to make monthly inventory reporting as painless as possible. The tool searches through vehicles known to be in AMS and compares them to AuctionTrac’s tracking data to determine which vehicles are likely to be in inventory and which vehicles may require investigation. It also compiles completed reconciliations into a PDF document for review and sign-off.
You can find the Inventory Report Builder on the AuctionTrac website (kar.auctiontrac.com). Remember: You will need specific permission to use Inventory Report Builder, which you can request via the Employee Self Service Portal or directly from the AuctionTrac website.
The following steps walk you through the process of accessing the Inventory Report Builder:
1. Sign in to AuctionTrac.
2. Choose Reports-->Report Builder, as shown in Figure 1.
The Report Builder opens (see Figure 2).
