Get the Most Out of Intercom

Use Intercom to get help through chatting or by searching for documentation.

Intercom now is integrated with many of the ADESA products. Using Intercom, you can get real-time help through chatting or by searching for product documentation. Simply click on the Intercom icon, shown in Figure 1, in the upper-right corner. When you click on the icon, the window shown in Figure 2 appears.

From this window, you can start a conversation or search the ADESA Help Center for articles pertaining to a specific topic:

  • Start a conversation: Select the Send us a message button, shown in Figure 3. Then type your question in the window that appears (see Figure 4). Someone will respond to your question, usually in under 5 minutes. When you’re finished using Intercom, click on the Close button (the X).

  • Search for information: Enter a topic in the Find your answer now text box, shown in Figure 5, and click on the Search icon. A list of matching documents appears. Figure 6 shows a list of matching articles for a search on vehicle history. Simply click on the article you’d like to view, and the article opens in the window, as shown in Figure 7.

Tip: You can always to go the ADESA Help Center at https://intercom.help/adesahelp/en/ to browse the Step by Steps and Product Updates or search for specific information (see Figure 8).
