A seller can withdraw from an If sale at any point prior to it being accepted or declined, regardless of buyer offers or counteroffers. The following steps guide you through the process of withdrawing a seller from an If sale:

1. In AMP, choose Sale-->If Sales from the menu, as shown in Figure 1.

The AMP If Sale main page appears.

2. Search for your vehicle.

A list of matching vehicles appears (see Figure 2). The View button appears next to a vehicle that already has offer started on it.

3. Click on the vehicle’s View button.

A timeline view of the vehicle’s sale details appears.

4. Click on the Update Status button (see Figure 3).

If the sale is waiting for a seller response, the Contact Seller window appears (see Figure 4). The Contact Buyer check box is selected by default, letting you know that the buyer is the next person that needs to be contacted.

5. Click on Seller Withdrawal to indicate that the seller withdrew (see Figure 5).

6. Enter the reason the seller withdrew in the Note area.

7. Click on the Submit button.

You’re prompted to complete the next communication or action. In this case, the Contact Buyer window appears.

8. Notify the buyer that the seller withdrew the offer.

The deal is completed, and the reason is recorded as Seller Withdrawal. Figure 6 shows the Timeline view after the seller withdraws and the buyer confirms.

Figure 7 shows the Resolved tab in the If Sale grid with two vehicles that had withdrawals completed.
