The following steps guide you through the process of creating and printing an invoice in AMS:

1. In AMS, choose Function → Accounting → Customer Invoice, as shown in Figure 1.

The Search By window appears.

2. In the Search By area, select Customer and enter the customer name in the Name field.

3. In Inventory Status, select All Vehicles.

Figure 2 shows you an example of a search.

4. Click on the Search button.

The Customer Invoice for the customer appears (see Figure 3). You can only create invoices for charges that have not already been invoiced.

5. Click on the Vehicle button, as shown in Figure 4.

6. In the window that appears, search for a specific vehicle by entering the last six numbers of the VIN or its stock number (see Figure 5).

7. Click on Search.

The vehicle you’re searching for appears in the middle of the screen, as shown in Figure 6.

8. Highlight the desired fees and click on Print.

The Output Destination window, shown in Figure 7, appears.

9. Select Printer, E-mail, or Fax and then click on OK.

Your invoice is created and is printed, emailed, or faxed, depending on which option you selected (see Figure 8).

Warning: After the Invoice is created, you can’t reprint it from Customer Invoice. To print another copy of the invoice, follow these steps:

1. In AMS, choose Function→ Accounting→ Customer Invoice Detail.

The Customer Invoice Detail Criteria window appears.

2. Enter the Invoice Number and Customer name or the last six numbers of the VIN and the Invoice Creation date range (see Figure 9).

3. Click on the Search button.

The invoice appears on-screen.

4. Select Reprint.

The Output Destination window appears.

5. Select Printer, E-mail, or Fax and click on OK.

Your invoice is printed, emailed, or faxed, depending on which option you selected.
