An arbitration fee is a standard fee charged to a buyer or seller any time an arbitration occurs. AMS automatically charges arbitration fees to vehicles. Each auction sets up its own arbitration fee on level 99, even if the price is set to $0.00. No other pricing level option exists.
The following steps show you how to find out what your auction’s standard price is for an arbitration fee:
1. Choose Function→Administration→Pricing Setup from the menu, as shown in Figure 1.
2. In the Pricing Setup Search window, select Arbitration Fee from the Transaction Type drop-down list, as shown in Figure 2.
3. Select Level 99 – Standard Price from the Price Level drop-down list.
4. Enter the date range of your search.
Tip: For maximum results on your search, use a date range of 01/01/1950 to 12/31/2050.
5. Click on the Search button to display the search results (see Figure 3).
Your auction’s standard arbitration price appears below the criteria. Each sale type that has been set up with a fee will appear, as well as the amount and date it was started. You can use the scroll bar to view all the information.
Tip: While this pricing setup can’t be inactivated, a new price entered will replace the previous one. The current price will be the one with the most recent date.
