The following list contains FAQs about arbitration fees:

  • I don’t currently have an amount set up for my arbitration fee. Do I need to do set up an amount before it is activated? Yes, please set a standard fee in pricing setup. If your auction doesn’t charge an arbitration fee, then set the amount as $0.

  • Can I close the arbitration without charging the fee? No, either the Buyer, Seller, or No Charge must be chosen to end the arbitration.

  • What if I am only closing the arbitration so that the vehicle can be checked in or payment can be applied/distributed? If further negotiations are required in the arbitration process, we recommend choosing No Charge until complete.

  • Who will be responsible for entering the choice of Buyer, Seller, or No Charge? This person can be anyone with access to the arbitration screen and who can best answer this question. However, this choice must be chosen before the arbitration can be ended.
