Late payment fees are automatically charged for certain vehicles. You can view the default grace period and late payment fees for a specific customer account in the Customer Information window. Remember: This view is read-only; you won’t be able to make any changes.
The following steps show you how to view late payment fee information for a specific customer account:
1. In AMS, choose Function→Customer→Customer Information from the menu, as shown in Figure 1.
The Customer Search window appears.
2. Enter the customer number or name and then click on the Search button at the bottom of the window (see Figure 2).
A list of customers appears.
3. Select the customer you want to view from the list and then click on the Select button, as shown in Figure 3.
The Customer Information window opens.
4. Click on the Enrollments tab.
You can find out whether the customer is being charged late payment fees and what the grace period is by looking at the Late Payment Fees section (see Figure 4).
Remember: You can only view information in the Customer Information window. To change whether a customer is charged a late payment fee or adjust the grace period for the entire account, you will need to go to the Customer Maintenance window. If you want to make changes only for a specific vehicle, you will need to go to the Inventory Management window. You can change the fee amount in Pricing Setup.
