Late payment fees are automatically charged for certain vehicles. You can configure late payment fees at all pricing levels and for all sale types. The fee amount is based on the amount that each auction has set in AMS Pricing Setup. The following steps walk you through the process of adjusting the late payment fee amount:
1. Choose Function→Administration→Pricing Setup, as shown in Figure 1.
The Pricing Setup Search window appears.
2. From the Transaction Type drop-down list, select Late Payment Fee (see Figure 2).
3. From the Price Level drop-down list, select Level 99 – Standard Price.
4. Specify the date range in the Price Effective From boxes.
5. Click on the Search button.
A list of prices appears. You can see the date the pricing began, the fixed price amount, the pricing status, and the price type for each type of sale (see Figure 3).
6. Select the price you’d like to adjust (see Figure 4).
7. Click on the Add button in the picture toolbar (see Figure 5).
After you click on the Add button, the Pricing Setup window appears (see Figure 6).
8. Select the sale type from the Sale Type drop-down list.
9. From the Transaction Type drop-down list, select Late Payment Fee.
10. Select your pricing level from the drop-down list (see Figure 7).
11. Click on OK.
The information appears at the top of the Pricing Setup window, as shown in Figure 8.
12. Enter the date the pricing should start in the Begin Date box.
13. Select the pricing method from the drop-down list.
14. Enter the new price in the Fixed Price box.
15. (Optional) Add a comment.
16. Click on the Save button in the toolbar (see Figure 9).
Your pricing is updated.
