Error: "Unsupported request - method type: post (User has admin access to ad account & business)"
In some cases, you may see an “Unsupported request” error when working with certain ad sets. This happens when the ad set is configured to use a Website & App conversion event.
Which is currently not supported through Meta’s API. Because of this limitation, requests involving these conversion events cannot be processed, and the error is expected behavior from Meta’s side and has been confirmed by their team.
Unfortunately, this is an API-level restriction and is outside our control. In such cases, we recommend creating a new ad set using a supported conversion event to proceed without issues.
