What is A/B testing
This is a tool with which you can constantly experiment with ads, comparing the effectiveness of each of them.
The goal is to determine for an advertising campaign of one topic the ad that will take the bulk of the traffic and will not compete with other ads.
For example, through A/B testing you can compare creatives with the same text but different images and find out which one will get higher CTR.

The tool allows you to test different ad variations
At the end of the split, you get the creative with the highest CTR. It is determined by the greater number of clicks with an equal number of impressions
With A/B testing, audiences do not overlap and ads do not influence each other, so you will get objective results.

How to start working with the tool
Go to the personal account on the platform
Go to the «Ads» section and select the one you need
Find the «A/B tests» button next to it

Important
When selecting additional settings please note that you can specify:
Number of clicks to stop the testDo not complete the test automatically
If the number of clicks specified for example 500, and the “do not complete the test automatically” is not noted. That ad gets statistical significance within 500 clicks and completes the test with winner indication. In this case, it may not take 500 clicks and will complete earlier.
If the number of clicks is specified (500) and the “do not complete the test automatically” is noted, then the test will run until one of the teasers gets 500 clicks.
