Content Guidelines

  1. Community Standards

    • All videos must adhere to Meta's Community Standards. Avoid content that is:

      • Violent or graphic.

      • Promoting hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.

      • Containing misinformation or misleading claims.

      • Featuring prohibited goods or services (e.g., illegal products).

  2. Ad Policies

    • Follow Meta's Advertising Policies for promotional content, including:

      • Prohibition of deceptive or false claims.

      • Proper disclaimers for ads featuring financial, health, or political content.

      • Accurate representation of products or services.

  3. Copyright and Intellectual Property

    • Ensure you own or have licensed all content (e.g., music, visuals).

    • Avoid using copyrighted material without proper authorization.

  4. Engagement Guidelines

    • Content should encourage interaction but must not include misleading calls-to-action, such as fake giveaways or engagement bait.

Technical Guidelines

  1. Video Dimensions

    • Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (vertical format).

    • Resolution: At least 1080 x 1920 pixels for high-quality output.

  2. File Requirements

    • File Type: MP4 or MOV.

    • File Size: Maximum file size is 4 GB.

  3. Video Length: Up to 90 seconds.

  4. Safe Zone

    • Keep key visual elements (text, logos) within the center of the frame to avoid being cropped by platform UI elements.

  5. Audio

    • Videos should include audio or background music for better engagement. Silent videos are supported but may perform less effectively.

  6. Captions and Text

    • Include readable text that contrasts well with the video background.

    • Use minimal text to ensure clarity and avoid overcrowding the frame.

Best Practices

  1. Content Style

    • Use high-quality visuals and vibrant colors.

    • Focus on storytelling and showcasing your brand within the first few seconds.

    • Avoid overloading videos with text or complex visuals.

  2. Engagement Optimization

    • Include a clear call-to-action (CTA), such as "Swipe Up," "Click Here," or "Learn More."

    • Highlight your product or message within the first 3 seconds to capture attention.

  3. Testing and Feedback

    • Test different video styles to see what resonates with your audience.

    • Analyze performance metrics provided by Meta to refine future content.

  4. Accessibility

    • Add captions to improve accessibility for viewers watching without sound.

    • Ensure videos are easy to understand for a wide audience.
