How To Turn On Repurchase Reminders

Learn how to turn on your repurchase reminders for your retail products in ANS

This article will talk you through how to set up your repurchase reminder within Aesthetic Nurse Software.

Repurchase reminders can be used for your retail products to remind your patients to buy another product at the right time frame. You can personalise this to be product specific depending on when a product is recommended to last for the patient.

Turn On Repurchase Reminder

The first thing you will need to do to set up your repurchase reminders is set the length of time for the reminder to go out for your retail products.

Step 1 :

From the main menu, select to enter settings.

Step 2 :

Once in settings, head to retail products under the heading products.

Step 3 :

This is the section that will hold all your retail products. To set your repurchase reminder up, you will just need to head into a product via the brand and then pencil icon.

Step 4 :

You will then be brought to our edit screen for the retail product and in here you will have an enable repurchase reminders tick box, make sure this is ticked to start.

Step 5 :

Then you will need to select the time you would like the message to be sent to your patients. This should be how long the product should last the patient.


Turn On Repurchase Reminder

Once you have set up your repurchase intervals within your retail products, you will then just need to turn on the repurchase reminder function.

Step 6 :

From the settings again, this time head to notifications settings under the heading notifications.

Step 7 :

You will then be able to head to the repurchase products section.

Step 8 :

Then you will need to select how you would like the message to be sent either by email or text message.

Reminder : Emails through the software are free of charge. Texts can be purchased at an extra charge and 1 SMS credi is 160 characters.

Step 9 :

After, you will just need to state how many weeks before the repurchase interval you would like the repurchase message to be sent and then hit save once happy.


Changing The Wording

If you would like to update what is being sent to your patients through the repurchase reminder, you can do so following the steps below.

Step 12 :

Head back to settings and then into SMS/Email templates under the heading notifications.

Step 13 :

You will then be able to choose to edit the email or sms template.

Step 14 :

You can then choose the repurchase reminder template edit button.

Step 15 :

You will then be able to add what you would like the message to say in the large text box provided and also personalise the message with the tags provided. Once happy you just need to hit update.

Step 16 :

Once you have set up all the above steps, your repurchase template will be sent to your patients reminding them to purchase another product at the selected interval.
