This article will talk you through how to add a prescription to your software and also the different functionalities within the prescription section.
A prescription can be created in your software to link to your patient record. This helps you to keep track of when a prescription has been sent off for your patients.
You can view your prescriptions either as a bank in our prescription section or directly on your patients record.

Creating A Prescription
Step 1 :
From the main menu, head to the prescription area.
Step 2 :
You will then be guided into our prescription section where all the prescriptions for your patients are stored. To then create a new prescription hit the 'New Prescrption' button.
Step 3 :
From here, you will just need to fill in the date of the prescription, who the prescription is for, the prescriber of the prescription, who the practitioner is and the clinic.
Step 4 :
You can then add any extra information needed into the content box and once happy hit create.
Step 5 :
This will then create a prescription template for this patient.
Step 6 :
If you would then like to add a prescription item to your prescription, select the 'Add A Product' button.
Step 7 :
From here, you will need to select which product, the amount and any comments you like and hit create.
If a prescription item you need is not within the drop down, you can always add them to your settings area of the software.

Breakdown of Prescription
We have explained the different areas of your prescription below :
Patient Details :
This area of the prescription pulls through from your patient details. If any of this information is incorrect, you will be able to update this in the patient record.
Delivery Address :
This address pulls through from your clinic information within the software. If any of this information is incorrect, you will be able to update this in the clinic settings.
Product Details :
This information is added to the prescription from the 'Add A Product' button which links to your prescription items within the software. If any items are missing from the button, you will be able to update this within the prescription items settings area.
Signature Area :
This information pulls through from both the practitioner and prescriber area of the software. If any of this information is incorrect or needs updating head to your prescriber settings area.
Prescription Functions :
You have the ability to send your prescription to your pharmacy within the software. This will send over a prescription without the prescriber signature. To update your pharmacy section head to your pharmacy section in settings.
You have the ability to print your prescription from the software. This will print the information of the prescription without the prescribers signature.
You have the ability to generate your prescription as a PDF document. This will allow you to save the prescription with the prescriber signature.
Repeat Prescription
You have the abiltiy to generate the same prescription again with the same information and prescription items, but with an updated date of the prescription.
