Device Status

What each device status icon means in Environet

Aethair devices are activated when they ship, and service begins for each device immediately upon activation.

When a subscription expires, devices are deactivated automatically unless the subscription has been renewed.

If you have received devices but do not plan to use them until a later date, they can be deactivated so the service subscription is paused. Contact support@aethair.io for more information.

An activation fee applies when reactivating a device.

Device Status

Device status indicators appear throughout Environet. The icons for Online, Offline, and Deactivated are shown below.

  • Online: The device is connected and successfully transmitting data.

  • Offline: The device is offline and cannot transmit data. It continues to collect data and reports it once the connection is re-established.

  • Deactivated: The device does not report data. An activation fee applies when reactivating a device.

AQ Status - Aethair IAQ Devices

Aethair IAQ devices also display an air quality status based on the AQ Score, a composite score across all monitored parameters. This matches the color shown by the onboard LED on the unit itself. The air quality status appears only when a device is online and reporting, so an air quality icon also confirms the device is online:

  • Good: Good air quality (AQ Score 90 to 100)

  • Yellow: Moderate air quality (AQ Score 80 to 90)

  • Red: Poor air quality (AQ Score below 80)
