To add and configure sensors you must access the Thiamis configuration page. The configuration page gives you full control over your Thiamis and any connected sensors.
You can access the Thiamis Configuration Page in two different ways:
From the Devices List
Navigate to the Devices page, and find your Thiamis in the devices list.
Click the 3-dot menu on the left side of the Thiamis device row.
Click the Edit button to configure your Thiamis and associated sensors.
Click Edit on the Device Monitoring page, in the top-left above the device name.
Adding a Sensor
To add a sensor follow these steps:
Click + Add Sensor - this button is on the right side of the Thiamis configuration page.
Select Your Sensor
Select Sensor Type - Select which sensor type you will be connecting to your Thiamis from the dropdown list. For many sensors, you only need to chose the manufacturer name and Environet will automatically recognize the model once it's connected. For example, choose 'DustTrak' and it may be updated to a DustTrak 8533. If you don't see your sensor in the dropdown list, contact Aethair Support and we will help you get your sensor connected.
Select Your Connection - Select the Thiamis communication port that your sensor is connected to, and then select the communication type.
Save Your Sensor - Click save in the bottom left corner to save your sensor and begin sensor configuration.
After adding a sensor, you may have to adjust it's configuration. The configuration settings will appear after your sensor is added.
Configuring a Sensor
Once added, you can configure sensors and adjust specific settings. The right side of the Thiamis Configuration page will show connected sensor settings for all sensors/devices connected to your Thiamis. Settings are dependent on the specific sensor/device attached to the Thiamis.
