The article covers the following topics:

Bulk actions (mass actions) allows you to save your time when carrying out routine activities. Select the needed offers, choose the action and apply all changes in a few clicks.

General options

Currently, Affise offers the following things-to-do via bulk actions:

  • Managing payouts

  • Managing caps

  • Connecting affiliates to offers

  • Changing offer's status

  • Changing offer's privacy level

  • Deleting offers

You can select several or all offers: the system shows you the precise number of selected offers.

To select all offers on the current page, tick the flag in the column's header:

To select all offers across all pages, select all offers on the current page, and then click the total number of offers:

To reset the choice, click Reset:

Manage payouts

Via this action, you can:

  • Add payouts to ones, which already exist in the offer.

  • Replace payouts, which already exist in the offer, with newly created ones.

  • Delete all payouts, including ones, existent in the offer.

To manage payouts:

1) Go to Offers.

2) Mark the needed offers with a flag.

3) Click Edit Payouts. You see the general payouts' list, where you should choose what you want to do with payouts.

3.a) To add new payout, select Add to existing and click Add new payout. Proceed with the step 4.

3.b) To replace payouts in the offer, select Replace payouts and click Add new payout. Proceed with the step 4.

3.c) To delete all payouts, select Delete. You see a warning window. Type the Delete word (the case doesn't matter), and click Delete payouts from # offers.

❗ As the offer can't exist without payouts at all, after deleting payouts, one general payout appears in the offer.

4) Set up the payout. Here you can learn more information about every field. Once done, click Add Payout. The payout appears in the general payouts' list.

❗ By clicking Add Payout on this step, you don't add it to the offer/replace the existent ones. To do it, proceed with the next step.

5) In the general payout's list, click Confirm to add all payouts in the list to the offer/replace the existent ones.

Manage caps

Via this action, you can:

  • Add caps to ones, which already exist in the offer.

  • Replace caps, which already exist in the offer, with newly created ones.

  • Delete all caps, including ones, existent in the offer.

To manage caps:

1) Go to Offers.

2) Mark the needed offers with a flag.

3) Click Edit Caps. You see the general caps' list, where you should choose what you want to do with caps.

3.a) To add new cap, select Add to existing and click Add new cap. Proceed with the step 4.

3.b) To replace caps in the offer, select Replace caps. General cap settings appears: you can set up the time zone, overcap, and so on. Proceed with the step 4.

3.c) To delete all caps, select Delete. You see a warning window. Type the Delete word (the case doesn't matter), and click Delete caps from # offers.

4) Set up the cap rule. Here you can learn more information about every field. Once done, click Add cap. The cap appears in the general cap' list.

When selecting a certain goal, you need to choose a goal title used in at least one offer. If all offers contains only goal values, but no goal titles, such goals won’t be depicted in the drop-down list.

❗ By clicking Add cap on this step, you don't add it to the offer/replace the existent ones. To do it, proceed with the next step.

5) In the general cap's list, click Confirm to add all caps in the list to the offer/replace the existent ones.

Assign affiliates

To connect affiliates to the offer:

1) Go to Offers.

2) Mark the needed offers with a flag.

3) Click Assign Affiliate.

4) Search for needed affiliates by his name, email, or a tag.

5) Select the needed affiliates.

6) Click Assign # selected affiliates.

The notification is sent to affiliates when they're connected to the offer via bulk actions.

Change status

To change offer's status:

1) Go to Offers.

2) Mark the needed offers with a flag.

3) Click Change Status.

4) Select the needed status.

5) Click Assign status to # offers.

The notification is sent to users when the offer is changing status via bulk actions.

Change privacy

To change offer's privacy level:

1) Go to Offers.

2) Mark the needed offers with a flag.

3) Click Change Privacy.

4) Select the needed privacy level.

5) Click Assign privacy to # offers.

Delete offers

To delete offers:

1) Go to Offers.

2) Mark the needed offers with a flag.

3) Click Delete. You see a warning window, where the number of selected offers is shown.

4) Type the Delete word. This validation is needed to prevent accidental deleting of offers. The case of the word doesn't matter.

5) Click Delete.

Logs on bulk actions

You need to have Write permission for Advertisers editing. Check out your permissions here: Users -> Users Management -> a certain user -> Permissions -> Users

To see logs on all types of bulk actions, click Logs on the offers list page.

You see the logs window, where you can filter by date, advertisers, offers, affiliates and type of bulk actions.

Filter for affiliates works for each type of action, where the affiliate might participate:

  • Edit payouts

  • Edit caps

  • Assign affiliate

To watch details, click Watch details. A window with new value appears.

Where:

  • Action type: the type of bulk actions.

  • Condition: relevant for Edit payouts and Edit caps types of actions. Possible values:

    • Add: when you add a new payout/cap to existent ones.

    • Replace: when you replace old payouts/caps for new ones.

    • Delete: when you delete all payouts/caps from the offer.

  • Changed by: the email of the user, who performed the action.

  • Offers: all the offers, which one action was applied for at once, i.e. if you changed privacy for 10 offers at once, you see only one record per all offers in logs.

❗ If you deleted offers via bulk actions, you see a separate record per each offer in logs.

  • New value: changes applied to offers.

To see changes applied to offers one by one manually in offer's settings, click Go to user activity log. The system redirects you to Users > User activity log.

❗ You need to have the General manager type of user to have access to User activity log.
