To stay updated on Housing Authority waiting lists, visit the housing authority's page on AffordableHousing.com. Click on "Subscribe to Waiting List Alerts," check the box, and then click "Get Alerts."

You can also customize your alert preferences. Go to your profile tab in the top right corner and select "Alert Preferences" from the dropdown menu. On the Alert Preferences page, scroll down to the "Section 8 Waiting List Openings" section. Click "Edit" to choose your preferred notification method (text or email), the state for alerts, and whether you want to receive them in real-time or weekly. After making your changes, click "Update."
