The Shopify API's used in Aftersell's checkout customization feature come with some limitations. We aim to detail those here to prepare you for its usage.
Payment Customization Limitations
Payment method naming
The "Credit Card" payment option seen on the checkout page is actually called "Shopify Payments" for the purposes of the API. This can be confusing, but keep this in mind when targeting this payment method for any sort of customization.
For example, when ordering items alphabetically, the "Credit Card" option will be ordered by its true name of "Shopify Payments", meaning it may appear closer to the bottom of the list.
Renaming
You can't rename payment methods that have logos as a name, such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. This includes all wallets.
Reordering
You can remove wallets from the Express section of checkout, but you can't reorder them.
Draft Orders
Payment customizations are not currently supported in draft orders.
