Purpose of the AI Agent

  • Develop a comprehensive, persuasive RFP response package that includes a proposal narrative, CSI-based cost breakdown, value engineering options, takeoff, budget forecast, and project schedule.

User Inputs

  • Solicitation Materials: Instructions, evaluation criteria, bid forms, attachments, and addenda.

  • Technical Package: Drawings, specifications, alternates, clarifications.

  • Company Inputs: Resumes, past performance, safety/QA programs, project approach, references.

  • Commercial Inputs: Labor/equipment rates, vendor/sub quotes, overhead/profit targets.

What the AI Agent Does

  • Compliance Mapping

    • Creates/validates compliance checklist; maps response sections to solicitation requirements.

    • Scope and Assumptions

    • Documents include/exclude allowances, alternates, and key assumptions.

  • Quantity Takeoff and Estimate

    • Develops CSI MasterFormat cost breakdown with supporting quantities and unit costs.

  • Value Engineering

    • Identifies cost/time alternatives; quantifies savings and analyzes impacts to quality/schedule.

    • Schedule Development

    • Creates a project schedule with milestones, critical path, and a long-lead procurement plan

  • Proposal Assembly

    • Draft narrative (approach, methodology, QA/QC, safety), adds graphics and action captions.

  • Final QA/Compliance

    • Verifies forms, signatures, page limits, formatting, and submission requirements.

Expected Output

  • File Format: HTML document

  • Contents: Compliance checklist; narrative proposal; CSI cost tables; VE options; schedule; assumptions and exclusions.

Key Outcome

  • A submission-ready package that is compliant, competitive, and easy for evaluators to score.
