How to use bulk actions in the Inbox

Use bulk actions in the Inbox to effectively manage multiple conversations at once.

The Agorapulse Inbox makes it easy to manage multiple comments or messages at one time using bulk actions. Bulk actions in the Inbox can be used to perform these actions:

How to use bulk actions in the Inbox

While in the Inbox, you can apply bulk actions by following these steps:

  1. (Optional) Apply any required filters

  2. Select multiple Inbox items
    There is a checkbox available when hovering over the top-left of the item

  3. Choose from the bulk action options at the top of the list of Inbox items
    You can hover over each icon to confirm the action

  4. Click on the icon related to the bulk action you would like to perform


    a) If reviewing multiple items, click Review items in the pop-up
    b) If assigning multiple items, choose the team member from the drop-down, add a message (optional), and click Assign in the pop-up
    c) If adding a label, choose the label from the drop-down and click Update*

    d) If deleting multiple items, click Delete items in the pop-up
    e) If hiding multiple items, click Hide items in the pop-up
    f) If exporting multiple inbox items, click Export items in the pop-up to either Export selected items or Export all items in this view.*


    ​* For Custom Inboxes, bulk actions like Labeling and Exports are not available.

Please Note: The inbox initially loads 20 items. To select more than 20 items using bulk actions, you can continue to scroll to the bottom of the inbox and load more inbox items in batches of 20 until you reach the desired number of inbox items loaded.

Note: Some items are unable to be deleted or hidden from Agorapulse. For more information on what type of items cannot be deleted or hidden, please take a look at this article.



Using the Review All bulk action

If no Inbox items have been selected, there will be an option to Review All. This action will review all items in your inbox, regardless of the filters that are applied, except those assigned to a team member. You can use Review All to quickly mark large volumes of non-critical messages as reviewed or system-generated notifications, so your inbox stays organized without affecting items that need attention.

When should you use Review All?

  • The unreviewed inbox items don't require any further actions (e.g., replies, labels, assignment)

  • Receiving spam comments on social networks that don't support Bulk Hide or Bulk Delete

  • You have just connected a social profile, and old or already actioned items have synced via the historical sync.

How to use the Review All action

While in the Inbox, you can use the Review All feature by following these steps:

  1. Under the relevant inbox, select To Review

  2. Click the Review All button at the top of the inbox

  3. In the pop-up, click Review All
    (Optional) In the pop-up, you can click on the check box to also include assigned inbox items
