Selecting LangShop plan ππ½
As soon as you install LangShop from the Shopify App Store, you need to pick up a plan first that will help you translate your online store. LangShop offers five subscription plans with different features for merchants who want to create and manage a multilingual store on Shopify. The monthly cost of your LangShop plan depends on the plan you choose. You may also purchase an annual subscription and save two months for free. The app charge will be included in your Shopify bill.

Step 1. Selecting languages π¨π¦
Select languages from the list into which you want to translate your Online Store.
LangShop supports Shopify translation API. Depending on your Shopify and LangShop plan, you can add different number of languages to your Online Store: 1 additional language for Free Plan, up to 5 for Standard Plan, and up to 20 languages for Advanced and Enterprise Plans. To check further details regarding Shopify plans and the number of languages you can add to your store, please refer to Shopify Help Center or get in touch with Shopify 24/7 Support.

Step 2. Selecting currencies π΅
LangShop allows you to add additional currencies to the store. There is no limitation in the number of currencies you want to display at your storefront. However, this feature is available only to stores with one Market (Primary Market). The stores with 2 and more markets canβt add LangShop currencies.
NOTE
This step is optional. You can skip it if you do not need additional currencies in your online store.
Step 3. Translating store data π«π·
LangShop provides you with information about categories that will participate in the translation process. By default, the app translates all data in the store. You can manually uncheck the boxes of those categories that you prefer not to translate.

Here, you can manage or add new languages, edit your content, order professional translations, use pro engines, customize currency selectors, display recommendation banners, and much more!
There is a spinning bar at the top right showing percentages and how much time is left for translations to complete in the background.

Time for the tasks always depends on the amount of data and the number of languages you add to your online store.
LangShop is a partner-friendly app that gives you full access to app settings for free while developing a store. For live plans, LangShop offers a 14-day trial period. When the trial expires, there comes a charge per monthly subscription. The app fee will reflect in your Shopify bill.
While LangShop is translating your online store, take a look at your storefront.
Steps:
From your LangShop admin, go to
Translations
>Themes
.With the help of the buttons
Translate
, you can translate static text, dynamic text, store components, including checkout information, system messages, and storefront elements that contain links, buttons, and other text placed on the storefront.Select your current theme, click

>Preview

By default, LangShop adds a language and currency selector to your storefront. However, it is not visible to your customers. The buttons is visible for store owners or Admin-only

Also, there is an Auto detection, a suggestion banner available for international customers who can select their preferred language to make online shopping more comfortable. Plus, visitors can check product prices in different currencies. This recommendation is also visible for store owners or Admin-only

Step 4. Publish switchers π²π½
When the translation process is complete, you can publish the switchers.
Steps:
Click
Manage switchers

At the left sidebar panel, you will find Language & Currency Switcher and Auto detection. By default, all the buttons have a visible status forAdmin-only

Admin only
toPublished

Changing money formats πͺ
If you add additional currencies to your online store, you will need to edit money formats to convert prices correctly and remove the alert notifications on the Home page in the app.
Steps:
Click Edit currency format >
Store currency settings
.Select
Change formatting
in Store currency section.Replace the existing formats with given span tags for the HTML with and without currency.
Click
Save

NOTE π«π·
Checkout will display the default currency set in your online store. If you would like to enable a multi-currency checkout, LangShop recommends enabling Shopify Payments. Langshop currency button is fully compatible with this feature.
